Cannot install BESR2010 management solution on a 2008 R2 server

Hello,

I'm trying to install BESR2010 management solution on a windows 2008 R2 server but I always get the following error message when I'm starting the setup

Backup Exec System Recovery Management Solution is not supportet on Microsoft Windows XP/Vista

I have installed all requirements for BESR2010 management solution (IIS,ASP.NET, .NET Framework, Silverlight. But I cannot install Symantec Installation Manager because I get the error message, that minimum 2003 or a newer server version is required

How can I solve this problem?

    Warten Sie bis 4.4.2011 dann wird BESR 2011 und MS 2011 released, diese unterstützen dann 2008R2 als MS.

    Ich glaub' wenn Sie einen Wartungsvertrag haben, bekommen Sie ein Update der Lizenzen zugeschickt bzw. können es anfordern.

    As Markus has already mentioned, this is fixed with the new version: SSR-MS 2011 - available today.

    As SSR-MS is free, you can use this to manage your BESR 2010 clients so licensing should not be an issue.
