how to recovery over written data?

I beg for help to you, how do I recover my data drive that has been overwritten with another drive ....??? because I had to copy drive "c" to drive "e" using Symantec norton ghost 15, and the results are the contents of the drive "e" I turned into the drive "c" and missing data are overwritten

many software can't do it, Please...help me how to resolve...that is very important

    This is not a recovery forum, but I'll try to help.

    If the data is truely overwritten it is most likely gone. You can try hooking the drive up to another PC and using a program like Recuva to see what it finds.

    Other than that you are out of luck unless you pay a data recovery specialist to look at it (expensive).
