PartInfo reports "WARNING: Partition above extends beyond the end of disk.". How to fix?

    OK, I have fixed the problem. SRD boot disk will indeed backup the server image even if the partition size is too big. I then sucessfully recovered it to a <2TB virtual drive. Partinfo.exe and backups in general are all now very happy. Thank you for your assistance.

    Because I restored to new hardware, I could then try gparted on the original server. I could change the size of the disk by reducing it 1 gb. It didn't wipe the disk, but this did not fix the problems. I'm not sure that repeating this a few times would have done any good.

    Anyways, I have used SSR in dire emegencies or hardware upgrades and it does work for me.
