Symantec System Recovery 2013 and Synology DS213+ or Dell Powervault RD 1000

1) I want to know, if I will be able to set up a backup job of one virtual server and a physical server to a Synology DS312+? 

If I can, can some one help with the set up? 

2) I also want to know, if I will be able to backup data using SSR2013 to Dell Powervault RD1000?

Any problems with either of these options?.
