Symantec System recovery 2013

Hi ,
i'm very newer in SSR and i need to know some Knolage base:

1- SSR Server edition are just using  for backuping servers?
2-SSR Desktop Edition are just used for backuping workstation?
3- in SSR Desktop Edition there is a management console for all workstation or pc are managed by their own console?
4-what should i take to save 10 pc without using a server ??

    3. Yes, we have the Management Solution (free) which can be used to manage ALL clients (servers and desktops)
    4. Not sure I understand this question....

    You should review the Symantec Management Agent (SMA) log on the client machine(s) for errors.

    I was trying to push install LOR on to the client(managed computer - windows 2008 r2 standard), but nothing is happening. I do not know where to see the status/log. How to solve this?

    Yes, you can push install LOR in the same way you can with the SSR client.

    Let me know whether I will be able to install LightsOut Restore 2013 to the managed computer from the Management console. I have a trial edition of Symantec System Recovery Management Solution 2013.

    I wanted to test Recovery.

    Then the Management Solution is not right for you.

    Take a look at SSR Monitor (included free with standalone SSR) as an alternative solution.

    Yes to both of your license questions. However, I am not a licensing expert to please contact our licensing team if you need more details on this.

    How many SSR machines will you have in TOTAL? The Management Solution is designed for enviroments of at least 20 clients.

    thanks for reply;
    i will reformulate :
    1: if i have to save 10 server should i take 10  licence SSR server Edition??
    2:if i have to save 10 workstation should i take 10  licence SSR Desktop Edition??

    3:in order to managae this 10 pc should i install SSR desktop edition in every PC and manage backup using
    Management solution ? (same case as the servers)
