Does it meaning that when the backup was trying to perform that server prod2 drive c and d was busy?

How do I fix this?

Thanks
Joe

Please check that Backup Exec AOFO Store does not contain any active cache file.

Also exclude the Backup Exec AOFO Store folder and files with extention .VSP from the real time and scheduled AV scan on these servers and reboot them once before running next backup job.

  • Hey Shyam,

Thanks-- I already know all description.
    I still have the problem!

1- i have excluded VSP from being scanned.
Does it me server b(back up) detected prod2 to be active so therefor it cannot back up?

2- my AOFO i have it "with lock" so doesnt that mean its going ot save to server b even though it is writing.

    Thanks
  • Hello,

This error may occur if the previous temporary Open File Option (OFO) cache file does not get deleted.

To resolve the issue reboot the system then try backup.

If same problem occurs then perform following.

From Backup Exec | Tools | Wizards | Advance Open File Option Wizard

Provide the Administrator User name and password.

In the "Static Volume location" -> give the drive path having sufficient free space (if possible use drive where paging file location is not configured)

Click Next -> Check "Have Backup Exec calculate the initial and maximum size of static volume"

    Finish the installation.

  • As per our previous reply, marking the case as "assumed answered" and moving it to "answered questions" pool.
