Custom forms issue in Outlook via Citrix

Hi there,

we are running an EV11 environment which is working quite fine. But especially for the users in Citrix we are receiving these custom forms complaints when trying to open archived items frequently.

On local clients this often can be resolved by executing the ResetEVClient.exe but the Citrix users cannot execute this.

I know Article:000018370 and the clear cache option does help sometimes, but it seems not to be a long term solution as the issue re-occurs.

The change in the desktop policy setting Deploy Forms Locally has already been set to Always.

But the question is.. is this the right setting for Citrix users?

So at the moment the only solution we have is to reset or re-create the whole Citrix profile what is like taking a sledgehammer to crack a nut.

Is there a better solution?

    1. From Outlook, go to Tools > Options > Other tab.
    2. Click Advanced Options > Custom Forms.
    3. Increase the value of "Maximum space on hard disk" to "5000" kilobytes.
    4. Click OK.
    5. Restart Microsoft Outlook.
