Shared archived items and shortcut and item deletion

Hi,

what does EV do when you have selected "share archived items" from partition configuration, and the user deletes both shortcut and archived item?

Does EV really delete the item if there are still "active" shortcuts from other mailboxes pointing to it? Or is it smart enough to leave it in place?

    EV tracks "shared archived items" through the metadata in SQL so it is smart enought to leave the shared item in the vault until the final shortcut (reference) to it is deleted or the item expired.

    Yeah, ... when you see the "Share archived items", what it really means to say is "Single Instancing".
