Any other thoughts. thx OpsCenter SQL query Help Hi, Need a little bit of help, need to create a custome report for our DBA team they have a list of policies and want to know when they ran last, is there a query where i can put the list of policies and run a success / failure report to provide them? thanks in advanced for any and all help SolvedBackup Archive Restore Ok so for those of us that have taken the leap to 7.7.1 for all the new features one that stands out and is very frustrating -- doing a restore-- . In the past Java versions you were able to manually put in a source and destination client now you have to select from a drop down box, for those environments that only have a couple systems that is great but for those who have hundreds of systems scrolling through all those servers the find the one you want to restore is very time consuming and frankly sucks. Is there a way to turn this feature off? or is there some trick to search quicker. Thanks in advanced for any and all responses. Re: Multiple [tldd] <defunct> process on Media server Team, Thanks for the input, it turns out there was an issue with the Quantum DXi that we are using for our VTL, we had about 20 virtual tapes stuck in drives and it appears that NetBackup was waiting for a response that the drives were unloaded and getting nothing so it would cause the [tldd] <defunct> process to hang. I had to reboot the DXi (manual unload did not work opened a case) to unload the drives, once back up I rebooted the media servers and any servers that drives were presented to in the environment to clear hung processes. Once back up all was good. Thanks again Multiple [tldd] <defunct> process on Media server Hi All, i curently have an issue on one of my media servers that is driving me crazy, recently after upgrading to NetBackup 7.6.0.3. ever since we have been getting Multiple [tldd] <defunct> process on one of our Media servers (see below) MM Processes ------------ root 3905 30344 0 07:12 ? 00:00:00 [tldd] <defunct> root 3906 30344 0 07:12 ? 00:00:00 [tldd] <defunct> root 5051 30344 0 07:13 ? 00:00:00 [tldd] <defunct> root 9607 30344 0 07:15 ? 00:00:00 [tldd] <defunct> root 12559 30344 0 07:31 ? 00:00:00 [tldd] <defunct> root 15442 1 0 Mar23 ? 00:00:05 /usr/openv/volmgr/bin/ltid root 15448 1 0 Mar23 ? 00:00:03 vmd root 16559 30344 0 07:18 ? 00:00:00 [tldd] <defunct> root 18832 30344 0 07:19 ? 00:00:00 [tldd] <defunct> root 20475 30344 0 07:35 ? 00:00:00 [tldd] <defunct> root 29154 30344 0 07:09 ? 00:00:00 [tldd] <defunct> root 29165 30344 0 07:09 ? 00:00:00 [tldd] <defunct> root 29182 30344 0 07:09 ? 00:00:00 [tldd] <defunct> root 29190 30344 0 07:09 ? 00:00:00 [tldd] <defunct> root 29191 30344 0 07:09 ? 00:00:00 [tldd] <defunct> root 29202 30344 0 07:09 ? 00:00:00 [tldd] <defunct> root 29212 30344 0 07:09 ? 00:00:00 [tldd] <defunct> root 29434 30344 0 07:09 ? 00:00:00 [tldd] <defunct> root 29441 30344 0 07:09 ? 00:00:00 [tldd] <defunct> root 30317 30344 0 07:09 ? 00:00:00 [tldd] <defunct> root 30344 15442 0 Mar23 ? 00:00:00 tldd root 30345 15442 0 Mar23 ? 00:00:22 avrd root 30392 30344 0 07:10 ? 00:00:00 [tldd] <defunct> root 30394 1 0 Mar23 ? 00:00:06 tldcd root 30639 30344 0 07:10 ? 00:00:00 [tldd] <defunct> root 30640 30344 0 07:10 ? 00:00:00 [tldd] <defunct> root 31539 30344 0 07:10 ? 00:00:00 [tldd] <defunct> root 31546 30344 0 07:10 ? 00:00:00 [tldd] <defunct> root 32701 30344 0 07:10 ? 00:00:00 [tldd] <defunct> Any ideas that would cause this. this media server is the robot controll host for one of our VTL's Thanks in advance, Matt Solved
