Dear community, I have a weird issue here. I have just setup a brand new BE 3600 R2 appliance just yesterday. When I am accessing the web UI with IE9 on windows 7, and IE8 on another machine (XP), whenever i click on the "hardware" or "Remote Launch" I will have this error message "Your session has expired, please login again" I do not have any issues at all when I am using Mozilla Firefox. I have added the URL in the trusted sites, clear cache, enable cookies. Nothing worked. Is this a bug? Edit: Tried with compatibility mode too but still no go. BE appliance is patched to latest update. Dear All, I owned a backup exec 3600 appliance and have configured a tape out to Dell TL2000 tape library. recently the BE reported that one of the tape drive malfunctioned. and I got dell to replace the problematic drive. unfortunately the problem worsen ... now even the whole tape labrary (media changer) cannot be detected. I All We have a Backup Exec Appliance 3600 R2 with product version 3.0.422.0 (Stand Alone). I try running live update from Backup Exec 2012 Console, but i get the same information. Open Symantec Support Case, but i wait a reply about this issue. Some people any a idea about this issue. I have a BE3600 R2 Appliance Running Backup Exec 2014, Ver 14.1 Rev 1786 64 bit. And a target Server: Exchange 2003 SP2, with Agent 14.1.1.1786.1103 Target Server is a VM, running on vSphere 5.5 with vCenter. I backup the server via the VMWare Agent with GRT enabled. I am able to restore individual files with no issues. When I try to restore a ExchangeMailbox Item fromthe sameBackup set I get the following: Completed status: Failed Final error: 0xe00002f7 - Cannot extract mailbox messages from the Exchange backup. Review the job log for more information. Final error category: Resource Errors For additional information regarding this error refer to link V-79-57344-759 I am able to fully see Exchange server Storage Group in the backup set, I am able to see all mailboxes, and all their contents. I can't say for certain when this broke, and I've certanly used it sucessfully many times in the past before I upgraded my appliance to BE 2014.
