Thanks, I was afraid that the jobs could not be retroactively given a policy. I know full well that a policy with a monthly template would have solved this issue, but we didn't when we created the jobs (monthly tape rotations were just added).
We don't use CASO; we only have one server administering jobs right now. That may change in the near future.
