Keep search button in Outlook after migrating mailbox to Office 365?
Hi, We have a case in which a customer has Exchange Onprem & EV Mailbox Archiving with shortcuted items and he is moving to O365. Their intention is removing the shortcuts before moving the mailbox to O365 and thereafter, still get access to their EV archived content through the EVSearch button in Outlook. Question is: How can we get the search button to show up in Outlook after the mailbox is migrated to Office 365? We offered IMAP as a way to get access to historical EV archived content, but they have 200 GB archives so not all archived emails would be accessible this way, that´s why the EV Search button is important for us. In our Office 365 webcast last fall, we shared several reasons why Office 365 alone is not enough to meet the archiving and discovery needs of most organizations. This follow-up webcast will provide additional details, including demos, head-to-head performance comparisons and ROI projections. These details will illustrate how Enterprise Vault goes beyond Office 365 by providing superior information governance, ensuring regulatory compliance and avoiding vendor lock-in—all while delivering a superior ROI for organizations in any industry. Hello all, hoping someone can help me out here. I'm trying to setup office 365 exchange to start journaling into evault. I believe I have the server side of evault configured correctly but I am having a hard time figuring out the office 365 exchange configuration. I tried to follow along in the guide here https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.000116527 but haven't had any luck getting the o365 configured. Can anyone who has done this configuration before hold my hand through the process?1KViews0likes1CommentMissing EV icons after upgrade to Office 2016 (Exchange Online/Office 2016)
Hi All, We have a killer of a problem that right now is only affecting a few users but my fear is it will grow... I should add that we are well beyond the official 'supported solution"... We were running Exchange 2007 with EV 10.0.4 on both user mailboxes and public folders. We have since migrated all user mailboxes to Exchange Online and are in the process of rehydrating their EV mail into their Exchange personal archives - that's going well... We left the EV tools installed on their clients so they can continune to access Public Folders, which are still archived - this is going to be migrated to Exchange Online as well. My issue... Some users have upgraded to Office 2016 and have lost the icons. We have given them the EV11 add-in and some are working, others are not. In the client log it says: User has never been enabled. (complete rubbish as it worked on Outlook 2013....) FUI: Not loading UI as action map is empty. Is the user enabled? Is the hidden message corrupted? I've checked it using Outlook Spy and EWS Editor and they look intact, everything appears OK but I need someone to tell me what I'm looking for/at? Is it the hidden message that enables the EV icons to appear? If the hidden message isn't in the mailbox, will the icons still appear? Do the icons need to appear in order to open archived items? As it appears so... Thanks!2.7KViews0likes4CommentsOutlook 2016 (office 365) / EV-Addin 12.0.0.1528: MSPTLS.dll is not compatible with MS Outlook

The image of EV should be getting better with EV and Virtual Vault, now the image at user side is decreasing more and more.Solved12KViews0likes4Comments
