Registration: January 11 - January 19, 2024 Sprint Demo: February - July 2024 Interaction Type: Sprint Demo Backup Exec 23.0 introduced RBAC v1 which has pre-canned roles defined in Backup Exec like Administrator, View only etc. Customers can grant granular roles to the BE users in their environment and ensure they can access only information they need to do their jobs and prevents them from accessing information that doesn't pertain to them. In an upcoming release of Backup Exec, our team is working on (RBAC v2) where additional roles, specifically around restore based roles will be added.
