Format of displaying Receiver / Sender in DA
The problem is: The format of email address that displaying in Discovery Accelerator is: "<Name Surname> email". For example, "Serhii Kohan skohan@example.com". If the Last Name is not specified, the EV in the search results in the FROM: or TO: fields, write skohan@example.com. But if name specified, it will only display the "Serhii Kohan", and then to find out what is the actually address of the recipient/sender - we have to open source code of mail and look to the header. We'd love to EV display the full address format, or at least only the e-mail address rather than a name. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Our main goal is: We need to make a reports of reviewed emails from DA, using SQL query in report template. And we even achieved the result, using complicated query with JOIN clauses. Now, we have the review report include such headers: FROM: ---- TO: ---- SUBJECT: --- ATTACHMENTS: --- DATE: --- MARKS: --- TAGS: --- COMMENTS: --- The problem is, that FROM: / TO: headers include only Name and Surname (for example: Serhii Kohan), instead of full email address, like: "Serhii Kohan skohan@example.com". We suppose that there is a table in some DB of EV, which has Name and Surname with actually email address. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> We were researching in SQL DB to find some connection betwen Name Surname and email address. But did not find anything. The TSE said that "This is a default behavior and EV can not display the full address format." and offer to make a feature enhancement. But we know that if there is a possibility to search Sender or Recipient email address by Name or Surname there must be some table in DB which contain such info. PLEASE HELP US TO FIND SOME NONTRIVIAL SOLUTION TO THIS CASE..1.7KViews0likes5CommentsDiscovery Accelerator 8 Search
Hello, I have to search and export all of a users email, xyz@abc.com, emails for the last 5 years but exclude about 40 names and domains from this search. Anyone know if there is a limit to how many names you can exclude from a search? I don't have analyics enabled and wonder if that is the best method to be doing this? I ran the following search but did not get any hits. xyz@abc.com -domain1 - domain2 - domain3...etc Suggestions?Solved998Views0likes2CommentsDistribution List members at time of the email Discovered
Hi, Using Discovery Accelerator 9 we are reviewing an eMail that was sent to a Distribution List. We need to know the members of that Distribution List at the time of the email being sent\received. When exporting the email and clicking on the Distribution List it is resolving against our current Active Directory membership and returning Mailboxes that weren't even created at the time of the email discovered, being sent. Thanks in advance, Cheers, PhilSolved2.2KViews1like8CommentsMeta Data and regular expression seach in DA
Hi , I have EV 10.0.4 deployed, and have Journal archiving enabled (Exchange 2010). On top of that I have Discovery Accelerator 10 installed. My question is around search, in partiular, can it do the types of searches that are listed below:- 1) Document Metadata searches: So if you right click on a word document, and select the Details tab, would a DA search find any of the information there ? 2) Regular expressions search Can searching use regular expressions, so for instance can I search for National Insurance numbers, which are in the following format:- <letter><letter><number1><number2><number3><number4><numbe5r><>number6<letter>, such as AB123456P I don't need to find a particular NI number, but would like to find ALL occurances of NI numbers, ie any occurance of <letter><letter><number1><number2><number3><number4><numbe5r><>number6<letter> ? In the same way as that I would want to check for credit card numbers, which is a something like 4 sets of 4 numbers Any help would be appreciated regards Jim788Views0likes3Comments
