Problem description : Backup failed with error code 71 (EXIT STATUS 71: none of the files in the file list exist). The server rebooted automatically on 28 th march and after that the backups are failing. The network drives are Netapp storage Shares and it is mapped to the client COLLECTIONSRV. The drives are accessible from OS using the user “USER1”. The netbackup client service is having the logon credentials of user “USER1”. In the policy the “ Backup Network drive” option is selected. The path is also specified properly. Also tried with the mapped drive letter “Y:\”. But the backups are failing with the same error code. The server has been rebooted manually but still the same issue. Hi everyone, We have a big backup environment with a 7.6 solaris10 master server. I understand that we are not able to take Exchange 2019 backup with lower (client/media) version than 8.x so I installed Media server 8.3 on Exchange 2019 and tried taking backup with my low version master server 7.6 and it worked! my question is if anyone has any idea about this situation and is there any risk to keep up with this situation, with lower master server agent than client? P.S. we are not able to upgrade our master server at this time. Thank you3.9KViews0likes21CommentsAIR failing after upgrade to 8.3.0.1

Like in File system backup we can select "Follow NFS and Cross mount points" to protect Network file system backup. Will VMware backup captures these options"Follow NFS and Cross mount points"? Why i am asking this question because i can see there is a huge difference in KB and files backed up in both policies VMware policy(Full backup) for same client captures50352269 KB but FS policy(Full Backup) for same client captures2114751968 KB. and "no. of file capture" is also double in FS policy(Full backup).695Views0likes2Comments
