Profile Synchronization only syncs few users and groups in CA 10.0
Active Directory Profile Synchronization is set to Automatically synchronize users and groups. All groups get synced, LAst synchronized date: Shows latest date (Search whole tree is checked) However only few users~700gets synced (Sync Date: show today's date and time). Total number of users is 10,000. Not a big volume and the interval between each sync is 8 hours. There are no event errors. No errors in DTrace. Seems the last time users were synced was Sync Date: 1/17/2014. Checked all Firewall rules and AD ports.Looks good and available on CA server. CA Database Schema - SQL Querying
Hi there - I am currently looking to build some custom SQLqueriesagainst the CA database but am struggling to understand the various tables and their relationships. Is anyone aware of where I can find a data relationship diagram, CA data model schema, or data dictionary to assist? As a temporary option, I am looking at the IntDiscoveredItems table which I understand are similar to the alerts produced when certain hotwords are hit. Access to research folder of ex-employee
Hi, One of user needs to access a research folder created by co-worker who already left the company.Even with administrator permission, we are not able to access the role assignment tab to change the permission.As far as I know, only the folder owner can change the permission.But in our case, since the folder owner already left the company, we are left with no option. CA Hotword search issues
We have a number of departments and searches and in one particular department the search for hotwords always produces 0 hits. Searches for attachments and external (named) recipients works fine. After some testing, I’ve narrowed the problem down to the message route of ‘FROM <dept> to outside the organisation’. I’ve managed to get hotwords searches to produce hits when avoiding the above message route, e.g. by putting in a specific destination domain. The problem appears to be how the search defines what is ‘outside the organisation’. However, this is working in other departments but just not this particular one. In July we upgraded our EV\CA environment to 10.4. Since that time, we have not been able to get our employee accounts to synchronize with AD. The last time they did was a few hours before the upgrade. Employee groups that point to an AD group synch fine, but employees do not. At the request of support I reinstalled CA, however the issue remains. Since upgrading to 10.0.4 we have started to see issues when running searches in Compliance Accelerator. The searches never complete, but there are no errors as such in the CA console.
