Not all data is backup (6.5) Unix

I have make a manual backup of one of my servers, showing that is is 100% completed, now when I trying to restore, it shows that one of the folders is empty, but there are files in this folder.  The ...

    Just noticed at the bottom of the log:

    "/sapmnt/RD1 is on filesystem type lofs - skipping"

    - seems like you'll need 'follow NFS"?

I did make a test policy just for /sapmnt/RD1 with follow NFS and it worked,  can I use this in my normal poicy, will it then backup the other data folders as well.
