Hello, i been waiting on the appliance upgrade for a while now, we have to migrate all servers to windows server 2012 R2. But without upgrading the appliance first we wont be able to backup our production servers. I been reading on the forums that it would become available in september... Now we are september, is there any ETA for when backup exec 2014 for appliance 3600 gonna be available? I need to start migrating ASAP :S
Upgrade for BE 3600 R2 to R3 has been released. Refer to following link for details on how to upgrade:

Jurgen is correct, the update has been released and is available for download.
if my received information is correct, it will be released on 9th or 10th september
So far, the upgrade process and image for the 3600 Appliance is set to be released in the month of September.
There is no official release date on the books as of yet, but it is coming in the next few weeks.
This is actually a very common question in support and we too are looking forward to this upgrade being available.
Subscribing to that technote will get you the alert letting you know the image is ready for download.
