Check Restore view saw all active directory objects.
What is the source location of restore job. if restore source location is tape then duplicate backup job from
tape to disk and then try to resotre job.
share the restore job log
was the option to recreate user selected in th restore job, if not select the option and than rerun the job, still doesnt work create a user with the same name and than try to run restore which will overwrite it.
