backup exec trust fail/credential fail
Hello,
I am facing issues trying to connect my master server (windows 2008 standard 64bit) to my linux server (CentOS release 5.8) I was able to install and connect to my other linux servers except this one. I am using Backup Exec 2012.
The credential testing fails
The "Establising Trust" fails with the following message
"Unable to establish trust with "host"
Unable to connect to the backup exec for windows. Ensure that the agent for windows is installed,
the credentials are correct, and then try the operation again.
Calling Method 'SetServerTrust'
BEMSDK Method 'MediaServerAdvertisementUpdate'
BEMSDK Failure Code: -536935807:X8"
I am affirmative that I have the correct password for the server and I can log in through ssh
I can ping the server using the hostname/ip
The linux agent is running
port 10000 is listening
I am unable to proceed further, any advice or suggestions is greatly apperciated.

Thank you for your repond.
I found what my problem was. There was apprently some kind of firewall setup.
I disabled the firewall and I was able to establish the trust relationship.
