...what error are you getting specifically? Are you using BE 2012 or BE 2010 (I see you've selected BE 2012).

Did you restore as follows:

1. Install OS and patches.

2. Install Remote Agent for Windows Servers (if a remote server), or Backup Exec for Windows (if a media server)

3. Catalog the tape you want to restore from (if it was your media server that died)

4. Restore data

5. Restore System State
