View Folder Size before restore?
Is there a way in BE2014 to view the size of a folder prior to the restore? I was hoping I could just right click in the Resource View and look at the properties of the folder when selecting the fold...
The size of the folder will be listed next to the name, when viewing the backup set information.
To see the folder size, here's one way:
- Click on the server you wish to view backups sets of
- Click on the restore option on the ribbon
- Double-click on 'File and folder backups from a backup set'
- Expand a backup set
- Click on any backup set
- In the right pane, the 'Size' column will contain the size of the data within that folder
