Windows 2012r2
I recently purchased a copy of BackupExec 2012 for a customer who has just upgraded their servers to Windows 2012 R2.
To my surprise, BackupExec is not yet supported on Windows 2012 r2.

Server 2012 R2 would be supported by BE 2010 R2. See this blog for the BE 2010 R2 release date.

Going by past precendent, your licence should be valid for BE 2012 R2. However, it is best to check this with the Symantec Licencing Dept.
