Archive task fails - EventID: 2256
Hello all,
We have EV 10.0.1 installed in test environment, running on Windows 2008 R2.
Today, I noticed "Exchange Mailbox Archiving Task" was in "Failed" status with below information in event viewer:

The Archiving Task 'Exchange Mailbox Archiving Task for TSTEXCH' could not be started due to startup errors.

I am trying to figure out what is causing this and how to resolve it. Is there a way I can see more detailed log of what the problem is?
I right clicked on Task, click Properties and checked "Run in Report mode" and then tried to start, but when looked under Reports directory it did not create anything.
Looed at the link mentioned in event viewer, but not seeing anything that is helpful in my case.
Yes, this is test EV server connected to test AD domain and test exchange, but I am new to EV and trying to understand this world...
Thanks,
That error could be because of many things and if you google the event logs you should get a lot of results:

Check these out first and see if they fix your issue. Otherwise you will have to dtrace the archive task and then restart the task controller service and then see if the dtrace report more dtails of the problem.
