Archiving leavers email once they have left the company

Just looking if there is an way to do the following, automatically archive a users email who have left the company
I have set a leavers provisioning grp within EV pointing to an OU in AD.   Is there any other things i need to setup and check or is that it

Ive had a looked at this doc, but it relies on changing a script for each person who leaves and wish to archive, which i dont really want to do as i want it to be as automated as much as possible

  • Normally it is best practice to create a separate policy for people who have left the company and have a different Provisioning Group which targets Leavers OU/Users. Please see the following steps:
    1. Create Leavers policy with Archiving rule set to archive items older than 0days
    2. Create Leavers provisioning group
    3. Run the Provisioning Task in Normal mode
    4. Run Auto archiving manually or leave the Auto archiving to happen at the scheduled time.
    Things to bear in mind:
Please make sure the correct Message classes have been checked on the policy
Promote the leavers provisioning group up higher than default and other policies that may be applied to user other than the leavers policy (Rank 1 is usually best)

All this is also covered in this TN:
