EV11.0.1 Search - Date format

We have users in multiple countries, yet all of our users are getting US date format in the search results.

As we only give users access to the vault via this mechanism, we are limited with options.

I found this post from June, but no solution was found.

Does anyone know if there is a fix for this?

    Your best bet is contacting your Symantec sales representatives to see if they can get any information on the enhancement request

    This is ridiculous! How come they havent addressed this yet....

    Most of the world uses DD/MM/YYYY but US dont, so they leave it as the US format! Unbelievable. I have lots of unhappy users on this issue alone here and a Director wanting to save money, this issue isnt helping my renewal case.

    i think everyone agrees with you. the recommendation is to create the forum idea as we mentioned to you 3 months ago and also bring it up with your symantec sales rep as was also suggested to you.

    To clarify, it is only the UK users who have a problem.

    Other nations get the correct setup, but SEV recognises all English speaking countries as US date format.

    i voted too.

    Didnt realise it was just affecting UK, that seven more annoying now, it was slightly easier to take knowing lots of other nations were in the same boat but if SEV sees UK as US......... then hopefully as its a known issue it can get addressed quickly.

    Thanks for the comments, EV12 has a number of date related improvements for EVS. Configuration of the date format being one of them.

    Look out for more information on EV 12 coming soon.
