Getting Enterprise vault ready for E-Discovery

Hi All,

We are planning to introduce E-Discovery in our current environment of EV.

Breif about the environment.

EV Version:  EV 10.0.4 CH2

No. of users 145000

approx EV db size: 500 TB

SQL DB 700 GB

Few failed indexes.

Can anyone please tell me the assessment steps that needs to be carried out \ getting EV ready for E-Discovery solution.?

    The main issue is to have healthy indexes. Discovery Accelerator (I assume is what you will use) investigates indexes first. In your environment (which seems to be pretty large :-) ) I strongly advise to have a seperate SQL and DA server. DA can be pretty quick in filling up databases.

    In addition, if possible, apply CHF3, or better, upgrade to EV11.0.1CHF5 (and then to 12.1.1)

    Your clients will love the new search (in EV11.0.1).
