Messages manual archived in outlook stay in a pending state
Hi,
We use ev 7.5 sp4.
When an item is manual archived in outlook it stays in a pending state.
When the same is done in outlook web access it goes as we expect to an archived state.
We recently changed the setting for the vault stores to remove the safety copy immediately after archiving.
Before we used the "remove the safety copy after backup" option with the IgnoreArchiveBit file.
Then restarted the storage service.
What am I missing here that it doesn't work in oulook but works well in outlook web access?
There are also 2 events registered in the event viewer.
One saying "A problem has occured while archiving a message"
"The archived item was not found or is no longer archive pending. "
The other is "A queued operation exceeded the retry count and has been discarded"

We found the solution to our problem.
The permissions set on the exchange server were incorrect.
The vault service account was member of exchange admins group.
We changed that and explicitly added the account and set the permissions as stated in the documentation.
That did the trick.
