Migrate away from EnterpriseVault

Hello,

i would like to migrate away from EnterpriseVault. How do I restore all the archived Mails WITH a Shortcut in the particular Mailbox. I dont like export the whole Archiv from a User and import it back. Is this possible at all??

    The short answer is that with Enterprise Vault alone, you can't.

    You might want to consider our product Archive Shuttle, that can. There are other third party migration products too, you may want to look them over.

    Hi,

    You can increase the Mailbox quota of user and then restore all archived items back to original mailbox.

    Why would you migrate away from EV? (curious)

    As for your question, you will need (as Rob also stated) a 3rd party tool, and I know Archive Shuttle will do the trick.

    The built in EV option is to restore everything, yuo cannot select 'only items with shortcuts'.

    Hi,

    As Rob says there are various products that can help. I work for a company called TransVault that develops a popular EV migration product(in fact I think it was the first) called TransVault Migrator.  Asking to only restore items with shortcuts is a very common requirement and something that can be done with our product.

    It's able to understand not only what's in your archive but which items have shortcuts associated with them so you can use that as a filter to limit the data migrated.

    Hi,

    thank you for all of your answers!

    The reason why: We like to migrate to a Cloud Solution, so I need my Mails back ;)

    My problem is not solved, but i know how to deal with it.
