I am hoping someone out there has done this before. I am trying to determine a way to change the default behaviour of the search to select the top level folder (David Lewis in the example below) of the browser tree. Is this possible?

yea what you're looking for is probably in the code base and not editable like other options.
I know some of it is configurable by making changes to associated HTML files, however i cannot find anything related to the Select Folders dialog window. EV11 is not an option for us at the moment unfortunately.
Sorry, I'm not aware of this as a configurable option. EV11 has the new "EV Search" which replaces Searcho2k and is definitely worth looking at if this capability is important to you or your users.
