NTFS to Centera

Hi,

Now we noticed errors in event log, and some archives aren't accessible:

If anyone could assist it would be great.

Thanks in advance

  • Then you need to speak to their manager, or get it redispatched etc
It's not an EMC issue btw, the syntax EV is using is definitely wrong because when you issue a clip_open command, you're meant to use a valid Clip ID, but here its telling it to open an CAB file instead of a clip ID which definitely won't exist on the centera.

  • These type of issues can be a bit tricky.  You might consider engaging Symantec support.

First thing you will want to do is locate the Clip-id for the Cab file.  Then verify that the clip is intact on the Centera.

Symantec support and EMC support can assist you.
