Offline Files with Windows 7
I was wondering if offline files are supported in Windows 7. I create the registry setting like stated in following technote:
Offline file synchronization of archived files generates synchronization errors when recall limit is reached.

Before i want to make clear that it will only work, when you create the registry key in this manner:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\KVS\Enterprise Vault\FSA\PlaceholderService and not
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\KVS\Enterprise Vault\FSA\Placeholder Service. There is apparently an error in misspelling as you will see in the registry guide.
But this brings me to the question is this still the same when creating on a Windows 7 workstation or is the Workaround a different?
Thanks for your help.
The Registry Key should be HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\KVS\Enterprise Vault\FSA\PlaceholderService
This is only for use on the file server where the Enterprise Vault FSA Agent has been installed, the Enterprise Vault FSA Agent is not installed on a windows 7 machine.
