Support for Office Online - Sharepoint Server 2016

I did not find anything related to Office Online for Sharepoint Server 2016. I am just curious if there is any public information if this is or will be supported? We are facing some difficulties for...

Technical Support stated that office online support is only available in EV cloud. EV on prem is currently not supported.

Hi,
Office Online Server is supported and can be used to open EV archived SharePoint items. However Sharepoint Online is not supported. https://www.veritas.com/content/support/en_US/doc/128058600-128865835-0/v128968363-128865835
