Appliance 5230/Media server/BMR

any idea!!!!

have you a seprate Netbackup master server machine? if no then your media server is also a master server just edit bp.conf file and add the host name as a master server also.

I have check BMR admin guide that the BMR option can be enabled from GUI if the appliance configured as master server,

You have a master server in your environment, right?

Only the master server can be BMR master.  Just follow steps in the BMR Admin Guide.

yes i have sperate master server my appliance configured only as Media server ,

i got confised becouse i have seen in the admin guide that BMR cane be enable from the appliance if it is only configured as a master server , which is not my case,

TThanks Marianne, its working fine and the master configured as a BMR server,

i am facing an issue now with SRT, SRT created for Win 32 bit and 64 bit  netbakup pkg's 7.5 add to both SRT's but when i am trying to add the maintinaceback patch 7.5.0.6 for netbackup client SW  i am getting the bellow error :

"installation of netbackup maintenance pack to the SRT failed "

i am following the correct steps in the bellow :

 but still getting the same error.

any recomendation's?

i download the SW again , the issue was with maintenance patch update,
