Complete DR - Windows

Hi all,

I must perform a DR and I have some doubts. The original site was a Mater Server in a Windows2000 cluster, with NetBackup version 6.0MP5, and the new site will be different in hardware, and it will have Windows2003 cluster. The same IPs, the same NetBackup version.

My question is: Can I import without problems the catalog?

I've seen the TechNotes TECH58358 & TECH77447, where it seems I can do it, but it does not specify if that can be done with different hardware and different version of OS.

    Seems your question is about Master server catalog recovery/import?

    Imports will work.  But why import and not restore from catalog backup? Even that will work between Windows versions.

    Thanks! You're right, I want to restore from a catalog backup, if it works between Windows versions, that's perfect!
