How to delete client from nbemm

small question:   How to delete a client with help of command nbemm with nbu 7.1 ?   I use nbemmcmd -deletehost -machinename xyz -machinetype client i think i am missing deletehost option...

    What are you trying to achieve specifically?

    nbemmcmd utilised for adding/removing media/master/ndmp hosts etc never known it to be utilised for removing "clients"

    From man page:

    /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/nbemmcmd       -deletehost
         [-brief]   -machinename   string   -machinetype  api  |
         app_cluster | cluster | master | media | ndmp |  master
         | media | ndmp-mediaid string

    If you just want to remove a client from the host properties list then this is populated by client entries within policies - just delete said client from all policies.
