Login credentials or certificate verification failed for server cloudcatayst appliance

Hi Guys,

I have same issue encounter with this one Solved: Login credentials or certificate verification fail... - VOX (veritas.com)

I also upload here the tpcommand logs and config cldinstance -l

We are trying to use the cloud catalyst appliance as cache of backup to AWS S3 storage but the credentials issue shown.

The version of Master and cloud catalyst is both  8.2.

In host file of appliance i insert the s3.ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com and the public IP.

    Hi guys,

    Want to share the resolution for this, the cloud storage region settings must be right and according to the support below settings for ap-southeast-1 is the right one.

    We tried so many settings before we got the right one.

    The error messages are misleading... it seem AWS isn't reachable from your Cloud Catalyst system.

    before you could do another attempt of configuration verify if connectivity exist from CC system to AWS.

    try with : "curl -v https://cloud-endpoint-name:443"

    once you see a successful connection for above command then attempt configuration.
