NDMP backup

Hello,

we backup many shares on EMC VNX, by a ndmp policy. but, when there is a problem on a share, all the backups fail.

 

is there any way, to continue backuping the next share, when there a problem on a one or many of shares ?

Master is installed on WIndows 2008 R2.

Netbackup version is : Netbackup enterprise 7.7.1

    Hello,

     

    use Multiple Streams in Backup Policy Attributes.

    In addition to better parallerlism, this will isolate individual share errors.

    hello,

    It's a good idea, but, we have a lot of shares, so when i did, i received other errors, because, the NDMP Hardware cant' manage more than 4 backup streams...
