Notify Script

All,

Require help ...................

 

We have a request from a user that the user needs to get notification from Netbackup end once backup for particular client (client name =VM01) completes/fails. Is there any way we can configure the mail alert from master server or from client end if possible do let me know the steps I need to do.

Master Server :- Solaris 10 ,  Cleint :- VM & Backup Type:- VM backup

Please let me know if more inforamtion is require ,

    As this is a VMWare backup it wont be easy - probably the best way to do it if you need to pin it down to a single client that completes a VMWare backup would be to use the Job Completion Alert in OpsCenter which will allow you to set it for a specific client Hope this helps

    Without OpsCenter, Implement your own mailing script into backup_exit_notify on master server.
