Is this a dead tape problem?
Veritas Netbackup 5.1 on Server 2000. Exchange 2003 environment.
I am attempting a tape restore and failing. The output (below) looks fairly terminal. Does anyone know if there is a workaround?...
Looks like bad media. Any chance Encryption was enabled? See this old thread:

Identify the tape drive the restore used and down it. Then re-try the operation.
If the read error re-occurs - it really doesn't look to good.
