Restoring Oracle files
Hi friends, I have a backup of a complete virtual machine that has files in the /oracle/backup directory, but when I try to restore it doesn't show any files. Why does it happen? Thanks.

Hello
Looks like you dont have whole vm backup as I can see some disks being excluded! Maybe these disks do make up the file system where /oracle is mounted...
Work with unix admin to investigate LVM structure...
Hi,
You mentioned interesting information, which is LVM.
I also believe this could be the case, but I was unsure how the netbackup administrator received the information about the deleted disks.
Can anyone explain to me where the information on deleted disks is identified?
Are the disk controllers in VMware? Example: SCSI0:0, SCSIS1:1
Or are these SCSI identified in the operating system, in this case in LVM?
Thanks.
