Issue we are experiencing right now is when we change the configuration of the policies in the nbu 7.6.0.4. it takes almost forever to save. OS is windows server 2012 r2 standard, 18GB RAM, Processor Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5640 @ 2.67GHz, 2666 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
Processor and RAID 5 disk configuration for local disk. is there any workarounds or solutions from the experts?
does this happen for all policies of some sepcific type of policy type like VMWARE , hyper -V ?
Yes it happened to all of my policies. I have only few policies in the system
Do you have forward and reverse lookup DNS entries configured for everything in NetBackup (servers and clients)? If not, add them.
Are you using NBAC?
yes, DNS entries configured for all target machines. NBAC is an accelerator? no.
NBAC is access control. Forward AND reverse entries? Take a look at the admin log on the master to see what its doing. that or maybe bpcd could show you if its trying to connect to something and timing out.

Yes, its if not configured so don't worry about that. Check the other points i mentioned.
Here's the bpcd log today:
I donr know why the bpcd log tell us that it is trying to connect to my SAN disk IP aadresses. It should connect (the daemons ?) to the backup clients richt? Im not sure about this. If connecting to SAN disk is incorrect is there any solution to point the daemon to backup clients?

What do you mean by SAN Disk IP address? Is it the management system of the SAN? Have you perhaps entered the details in the credentials section of the NetBackup console?
Nothing there in the credential section.
