BESR 2010 hangs at 95% complete Updating History

We have about 8 servers being backed up with BESR 2010.  Intermittently one will stop at 95% complete and show "Updating History".  What is the permanent fix for this.  Often I can restart the servic...

    You can download BESR SP2 from https://fileconnect.symantec.com. Prepare you serial number, you'lL need it for downloading.

Yes, I'm sure there's no RPAM_Store.dat

As a sysadmin, I never allow remote connections to write to the root of a share, and the BESR docs don't list that as a requirement either.
