VSR16 Error EC8F17B7: Cannot create recovery points for job: Drive Backup of Windows
I upgraded my system to the creator's update last week (OS Build 15063.332). Today I tried to perform a backup of my C: drive and the backup failed. I error I am receiving is the following:
Error EC8F17B7: Cannot create recovery points for job: Drive Backup of Windows.
Error E4F3000B: PreSnap failed on volume \\?\Volume{16971f9d-3d2f-45c1-a77b-548713a96fbb} . (UMI:V-281-3215-6071)

I have applied the service pack 1 for this product. The about windows says I am on version 16.0.1.56016. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.
I was able to successfully complete the image backup after I de-selected the recovery partition from the backup job.
