How to schedule SQL Logs Backup with BE 2012

Question

Hello,

I want to schedule SQL logs backup only between certain hours (different depending days of the week).

For example from 23h to 21h (next day). Then at 21h I take a full database backup, and at 23h I continue doing log backups till next full backup.

But with the exception of Saturday when I need another time schedule.

With BE 2012 I can not find how to do that.

The best answer to this is upgrade to BE 2014 as we have re-introduced the scheduling capability that allows this sort of setup.

Hi Colin and phk,

thank you very much for your help and quick answer.

For me is difficult now to upgrade to BE 2014 as we don't have budget for it

By now we are going to solution this by creating bat files as phk suggests.
