why does one ext usb drive work, yet all else fail?

Hello, I have three backup-to-disk folders on external usb drives. HD1,HD2,HD3 When I try to inventory any of the three one at a time, i get this error. (HD1 Sometimes is successful) Final er...

Removable media folder? do you mean backup to disk folder?

I tried both suggestions anyway..

I used the gui in devices to create a new backup to disk folder and used backup exec to create a new folder on the usb HD3

I also created a new removable backup to disk folder on Z: (HD3)

Tested two backup jobs to either storage destination and got the same errors

Final error: 0x84d9 - 0x 84d9 (34009)
Final error category: Other Errors
