NBU 5.1.1 - WinSCP - Trick?

Upgraded 5340 appliance from 4.1.1 to 5.1.1 and now we can't connect via WinSCP to push or pull files from the appliance. Anybody run into this already?

    Hi

    is ordinary scp working? maybe you should upgrade winscp as I think there was changed in encrytpion methods/models used...

    Ordinary scp (or pscp) still works fine, as long as you're going to/from an authorized directory (I believe just /log/ or /inst/patch/incoming/ ).

    I'm impressed you got WinSCP to work ever, unless you're talking about using an account that doesn't involve the CLISH. Since accounts with CLISH access are technically executing a script instead of a login shell, I've never managed to get WinSCP to work with one of them.

    That said, as I mentioned pscp works fine, and there's a lovely feature that enables web access to the /log/ directory as well for easy downloading, you might want to look into that.
