Change Hostname and can't run Admin Console

Dear All
I have
Windows 2003 R2  --> Master Server
AIX --> Media Server
 
we changed the hostname of Master and Media server. we try to run Administrator Console on Master server ,can't run Administrator Console
 
with error message
"
Unable to connect to the selected NetBackup host ....
 
1. Make sure the user "what" has privileges on the hosts.
2. Make sure the local host is listed in the server list of the destication host ....
3. Make sure there is a valid network connection.
4. Check authentication.
5. Make sure all services are running on the host
"
 
What should I do

    Hi,
     
    You can't change the hostname of a master server, you should always keep the original name.

    Can I uninstall the NetBackup on EMM server and Install it again.
     
    If I can then what I have to do with the AIX server ?   (uninstall and reinstall ?)

    do you want to start all over again?
     
    you can uninstall from both servers, and reinstall to both servers and start over from the begining.... meaning you cannot do restores and you have to create your policies and storage units again..
     
     
     
    Symantec/Netbackup says in many places in the manuals and tech docs that:
    YOU CANNOT CHANGE THE NAME OF A MASTER OR MEDIA SERVER
     
    end of story if you want to change the name you start over from the begining like a brand new server.

    We have to change host name because of "Name Policy"
     
    so I think I have to start over again.
