My office is moving from Veritas Backup Exec for Netware 9.2 to NetBackup 7.1
Can that version of Netbackup import/catalog/restore from old SLDT 600 tapes that were created by Veritas Backup Exec for NetWare - versions 9.0, 9.1, and 9.2?

Sorry, but the BackupExec Tape Reader in NetBackup does not work with media written by BE for NetWare.
I remember that for any migration between OS's you need ot hire Symantec professional services and not all the Migrations were supported like in this case coming from Nobel I think it will be a really hard call, I will recommend you to send this data in to a museum box or just kill any backups going in and configure your client in to your new NBU domain and if you need to restore you only switch the client to backup exec.
