    Use the copy file option to recompile the recovery point image to the desired storage location with the new file name.

    Hi

     

    Is there an option that takes a shorter amount of time?

    I can keep the point in the same place, just rename it?

     

    In previous versions of Norton Ghost - I could just rename it with no problem?

    Sadly it does take a considerable amount of time to recompile since the iamge is being re-created. Since the *.PQH files is what keeps track of what images the specific agent has created, only modfiying this file with hte new name would be the way to do this without recompiling. Symantec Technical support does not offer assistance in modifying this file.
